Grand Old Parr 12 Years is a solid blended whisky. On the nose, we detect subtle whiffs of peat with orange, raisins (most likely sherry), and soft vanilla. On the palate, the sweetness of the grain comes into play nicely with the darker richer notes of raisins, orange, and brown sugar.
