Maker's Mark 46 (often referred to as No. 46) is a premium Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey finished with 10 seared French oak staves inserted into the barrel during a secondary aging process in a limestone cellar. It was created by Bill Samuels Jr. to provide a bolder, more complex, and spicier version of the standard Maker's Mark without the bitterness that can accompany longer-aged whiskies.
